Basel Mulhouse Euro Airport

Euroairport is situated in Saint-Louis, 6 km northwest of Basel (Switzerland) but within France. The airport serves Basel, Mulhouse in France and Freiburg in Germany.
Euroairport is one of the few in the world operated by two separate sovereign nations (Switzerland and France). All buildings and runways are completely within French territory but French and Swiss customs are available with a border road taking you directly into Switzerland.
Over four and a quarter million passengers used the airport last year with British low cost carrier Easyjet expanding here in 2004 being a large contributor.
