Additional Driver Charges

Inclusion of free additional drivers or costs for adding further drivers vary from supplier to supplier in different countries. One thing is for sure the additional driver(s) must be with you at the desk to sign documents relating to the insurance.

Check the terms and conditions when choosing a vehicle if you need additional driver(s) as a slightly higher priced vehicle with a free additional driver, may be a better choice than the lower priced car with a charge for an additional driver.

Age, license endorsements and other eligibility criteria affect additional drivers as much as the primary driver. Ensure all additional drivers bring their licenses and are comfortable and eligible to drive the rental car.
