Metz Nancy Lorraine Airport
The Airport
Situated in Goin the airport was opened in 1991 to replace two separate airports in Nancy-Essey and Metz-Frescaty. The airport has 3,600 sq meters of terminal space and a runway of 3050 meters with a capacity of 500,000 per year. The airport is located half an hour drive south east of Metz.
Currently the airport handles just over 250,000 passengers per year with Air France, Twin Jet and Air Algiers the principle carriers. The airport also handles freight but lost out in a major DHL restructure losing the hub status it had with the cargo giant.

Other Car Hire Locations
The Aerolor shuttle bus will take you to the Metz Train Station car hire location within 30 minutes and Nancy Train Station car hire location within 40 minutes direct from the airport.
Parking
The first twenty minutes parking is free with the following charges applicable after this. You can of course park free within the car rental return should you need to return to the airport.

Services
There is a self service restaurant in the terminal as well as the "Le Mirabelle" bar for a drink. A cash point, toilets and disabled restroom are also located within the terminal.
